A little clarity
Helpful answers.
Clear next steps.
A few useful starting points for buying, selling, and working with Sarault & Co.
What does a saddle concierge do?
Sarault & Co. helps you work through a pre-owned saddle purchase or sale with personal guidance. A conversation is the starting point: what you need, what you already know, and what you would like help understanding.
Do you work with English and Western saddles?
Yes. Sarault & Co. is built around pre-owned English and Western saddles. Share your discipline and the kind of saddle you have in mind when messaging Jeff.
How do I start looking for a saddle?
Message Jeff with your discipline, approximate budget, current saddle details, and any notes from your saddle fitter. It is fine if you do not have all the answers yet.
What should I prepare if I want to sell?
Have the brand, model, seat size, serial number, and a short history ready if available. Clear photographs of both sides, the seat, underside, billets or rigging, and any wear will make the conversation more useful. Listing is free, with a 20% commission when your consignment saddle sells. Existing signed agreements retain their agreed terms.
Can you guarantee that a saddle will fit?
A listing or a conversation cannot guarantee fit. Fit needs to be assessed for the individual horse and rider. Discuss your fitter’s recommendations and what verification is appropriate before making a decision.
Are trials, returns, or shipping available?
Ask Jeff about the specific saddle. Trial eligibility, return terms, shipping arrangements, and associated costs need to be confirmed before you commit.
Where can I find the price and measurements?
Prices, measurements, and condition notes are shown on individual saddle pages when available. Ask Jeff to confirm current availability and any remaining details for the saddle you are considering. Photographs alone do not establish suitability.
How do I contact Jeff?
